Over the years, they have built a strong reputation for innovation, reliability, and commitment to domestic production.Job DescriptionLead and manage multiple complex projects, applying strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Design and develop manufacturing processes, including fixture creation using SolidWorks and precise tooling selection for high-tolerance component production.Establish and implement effective quality systems and gauging methods to ensure consistent production standards.Develop machining and assembly procedures involving CNC machining centers, lathes, grinding, and broaching operations.Program CNC equipment utilizing G & M-Code, CAM software (Mastercam), and macro programming techniques.Apply GD&T principles to support proper work holding, machining accuracy, and gauge control aligned with design requirements.Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to source, develop, and validate manufacturing tools and equipment.Promote standardization across the facility through core competency teams, benchmarking, process documentation, and equipment checklists.Mentor junior engineers and production staff, offering technical guidance and support within the manufacturing environment.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by supporting the company's LEAN manufacturing initiatives.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
