Job Description

  • Oversee daily operations of all assembly and shipping processes, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of products
  • Manage work orders and the company MRP system, ensuring accurate scheduling, material planning, and resource allocation
  • Monitor and analyze production efficiency, comparing estimates to actual performance to drive improvements and reduce waste
  • Evaluate and manage manufacturing capacity, adjusting production plans as needed to meet customer demand and operational targets
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Operations on capacity planning decisions, including overtime strategy and workforce allocation
  • Participate in and support ISO 9001 audits, ensuring all processes and documentation meet quality standards and regulatory compliance
  • Implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput, quality, and employee safety
  • Lead and develop a team of production staff, fostering a culture of accountability, communication, and performance

The Successful Applicant

  • 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • An associate degree or technical certification; advanced training is a plus
  • Hands-on CNC machining experience, especially with Mazak equipment (lathes and horizontal mills)
  • Ability to troubleshoot, set up, and make basic programming edits on CNC machines
  • Experience with ERP and MRP systems
  • Proven supervisory experience managing shop floor teams and daily production operations
  • Hands-on and lead-by-example approach to leadership
  • Strong communication skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset
