Job Description

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and manage assigned engineering projects and customer groups.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, interpreting needs and representing them throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee quality control for budget, schedule, plans, and team performance; report regularly on project status.
  • Assign responsibilities and mentor design engineers, providing technical guidance and oversight.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure technical support and timely delivery.
  • Manage pre-release activities, including component selection for long-lead items.
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions as needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • 1-3 years of project engineering experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable interacting with clients and serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Ability to mentor and guide design engineers on technical projects.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Engineering degree preferred but not required.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of driving projects forward in a fast-paced setting.
