Manufacturing Supervisor 2nd Shift - Mattapoisett, MA

Responsibilities:

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean principles to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiencies across the team.
• Drive operational efforts to create a safe work environment, ensure high-quality production, and apply lean strategies to reduce costs, inventory, and lead times.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and operational standards, enforcing compliance with procedures and best practices for all team members.
• Maximize the efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment to meet production goals and maintain timelines.
• Foster a positive, solution-focused team culture through regular communication, effective task delegation, empowerment, and collaboration with support services.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve team engagement, performance, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage workforce scheduling, including vacations and overtime, to meet operational needs.
• Mentor and train team members to identify challenges, analyze root causes, and implement practical solutions.
• Promote cross-training to improve workforce flexibility and ensure smooth operations across work cells.
• Maintain a strong, visible presence on the production floor, providing guidance, coaching, and hands-on leadership to your team.
