About Our Client

Our Engineering and Manufacturing division at MP Boston recently partnered with a vastly-growing contract manufacturing medical device company that specializes in manufacturing dental products.

Job Description

  • Process owner and troubleshooting responsibility of existing automation equipment and processes including, high precision measurement systems, PLC, HMI, robots, vision systems, mechanical / electrical /pneumatic devices
  • Lead technology transfer of manufacturing processes / products; this includes fixture design, process validation, work instructions, sampling plans, process controls, test methods and measurement techniques
  • Support on-going compliance through process changes and re-validation evaluation
  • Lead development and implementation of process improvement projects which requires core technology of robotics and vision systems
  • Identify areas for process improvement; recommend, develop, and implement solutions
  • Use 3D CAD software to design fixture
  • Maintain job related processes / work instructions
  • Support NCMR's, ECO's, CAPA's, PFMEA's, GR&R, etc. as required

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 3 years relevant experience (need to have worked in a highly regulated environment)
  • Working knowledge of validation, failure investigation, PFMEA, GR&R, auditing, quality assurance, and quality systems in a medical device environment
  • Working knowledge of QSR and ISO standards
  • Working knowledge of 3D CAD modeling
  • Project management skills - ability to lead projects from concept to production implementation, according to established time-line and budgetary goals.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Automation experience is a PLUS (but not necessary to be considered for the role)
