Mechanical Design Engineer - Litchfield, CT

Responsibilities for the Mechanical Design Engineer include:

• Perform conceptual and detailed mechanical design for robotic work cells.
• Design mechanical systems for industrial automation equipment.
• Develop options and modifications for automated equipment, robots, and accessory systems.
• Design pneumatic systems and select electrical sensors and components.
• Conduct engineering calculations to validate system and component performance.
• Deliver functional and cost‑effective designs within required timelines.
• Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office for design and documentation.
• Prepare customer proposals for robotic and automation solutions.
• Maintain accurate project files, documentation, and digital records.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and stay current on new technologies.
• Maintain a professional, customer‑focused approach.
