Description
- Design thermoforming equipment that adheres to customer specifications and identify changes to standard machinery
- Ensure efficient implementation of designs to be used in machine manuals
- Utilize mechanical engineering knowledge of machinery principles and materials and manufacturing methods and processes
- Work closely with the VP of Engineering to set department policies and SOPs
- Guide other engineers to have proper machine design practices
The Successful Applicant
- BS in Mechanical Engineering (major in Machine Design a plus) (essential)
- 10-15 years of equipment engineering experience (essential)
- Ability to interface successfully with customers
- Budget and costing experience
- 3D solid molding expertise
- Experience designing standard and customer machinery (essential)
