Job Description

In this role you will report directly into the Engineering Manager and will:

  • Design and component selection incorporating Mechanical Engineering principles, encompassing materials selection, heat transfer, stress analysis, and fluid dynamics.
  • Analyze customer requirements, equipment specifications, and performance criteria, gathering necessary information from diverse sources.
  • Provide engineering support to Sales, Manufacturing, and Field Service groups.
  • Develop and release detailed drawings and bills of materials.
  • Participate in project meetings, ensuring effective communication of progress to all stakeholders.
  • Generate procedures, specifications, manuals, and reports as required.
  • Conduct a review of job cost requirements to ensure projects stay within budgetary constraints.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of designing for manufacturing and fabrication
  • Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • ANSI standards and GD&T experience heavily preferred
  • Vacuum, furnace, pressure vessel, thermodynamics and ASME experience a huge plus
