Job Description

  • Support the Lean Production efforts of existing products
  • Manages projects in excess of $1 Million to meet deadlines and specifications
  • Troubleshoot and set-up machinery
  • Lead projects to upgrade infrastructure and layouts throughout the plant
  • Help with the evaluation, implementation and maintenance of machinery at the plant
  • Assist with design for plant layout and machinery setup
  • Work cross-functionally with all disciplines at the site
  • Demonstrate clear communication and ability to meet deadlines
  • Design systems for manufacturing
  • Implement lean methodologies to improve production efficiency
  • Keep mills up and running
  • Assist with new automated bundling system project

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with industrial manufacturing
  • Previous experience leading or assisting with projects involving capital equipment or machinery
  • Demonstrate natural leadership abilities and convey a desire to grow within an organization
  • Clear communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience being hands-on within manufacturing

What's on Offer
