Job Description

  • Oversee day‑to‑day readiness and performance of multiple assembly lines, ensuring smooth and consistent production.
  • Improve and streamline assembly processes, procedures, methods, and tooling to enhance output and safety.
  • Maintain and update Bills of Materials and assembly documentation through a structured engineering‑change process.
  • Analyze production flow, space usage, equipment needs, and labor requirements to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Develop clear work instructions and training resources to maintain high product quality and operational consistency.
  • Lead cost‑reduction initiatives through process evaluation and data‑driven improvements.
  • Partner with vendors and internal teams to evaluate equipment, materials, and tooling that support manufacturing goals.
  • Support quality investigations and corrective actions while ensuring all safety and compliance standards are upheld.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical field is required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment with progressive responsibility.
  • Strong background in assembly line operations, process optimization, and tooling or fixture improvement.
  • Ability to manage and update Bills of Materials and technical documentation through a formal change‑control process.
  • Skilled in analyzing workflows, production layouts, equipment utilization, and labor needs to enhance efficiency.
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and operations staff to troubleshoot and implement improvements.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and the ability to ensure compliance across production activities.
