Job Description

  • Primary site leader overseeing all MEP subcontractors, suppliers, and related personnel.
  • Develop and maintain the MEP project plan, tracking weekly progress and overall project status.
  • Manage and coordinate all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing site operations.
  • Supervise labor and subcontractors to ensure high-quality workmanship and timely completion of MEP scopes.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with Owners, Design Consultants, and Project Managers.
  • Coordinate with local jurisdiction inspectors and utility representatives to guarantee regulatory compliance.
  • Enforce strict adherence to Safety Programs and oversee the Quality Control Program specific to MEP work.
  • Prepare and update detailed short-term MEP schedules.
  • Manage accurate invoicing and financial tracking for MEP project costs.
  • Address and resolve daily field challenges related to MEP activities.
  • Prepare daily reports documenting manpower, key activities, and progress.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience managing MEP scopes on large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • Proven experience working for or with top-ranked general contractors or MEP trade contractors.
  • In-depth knowledge of building systems, codes, commissioning, and MEP industry standards.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Navisworks, BIM 360).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • PE or LEED accreditation is a plus
