Job Description

The MEP Project Manager - Life Science Projects - Wakefield MA is responsible for:



  • Manage construction projects from award through closeout, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule alignment


  • Collaborate with owners, architects, and subcontractors throughout project lifecycle


  • Lead weekly job meetings, track RFI/submittals, and oversee project documentation


  • Coordinate with field staff and superintendents to support smooth daily execution


  • Support procurement, cost forecasting, billing, and project schedules


  • Work closely with Preconstruction and Estimating teams during handoff and early planning

The Successful Applicant

The MEP Project Manager will have has the following qualifications:



  • 5+ years of experience managing mechanical or HVAC scopes on construction projects


  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, drawings, specifications, and field coordination


  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget


  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage subs, vendors, and clients


  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.)


  • Experience working on multifamily, mixed-use, or institutional projects is a plus


  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
