About Our Client

Lead Investment Service seeking an IT Security Analyst.

Job Description

  • Provide support, including troubleshooting system failures and pre-emptive identification and resolution of issues and user training
  • Perform administration tasks to enable business groups within the company to carry out their day to day activities
  • Manage vendors to ensure timeliness of requests and problems
  • Liaises with external software vendors and service providers to resolve issues as appropriate
  • Continually monitor networks, servers, endpoints, and cloud applications
  • Provide cyber security subject matter expertise to internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, security audits / reviews
  • Perform trend analysis on operational incidents and raise problem tickets to drive action to resolve the underlying cause
  • Proactively identifies areas of risk, investigates root cause and proposes strategies to mitigate risks
  • Automation, improvement and innovation of cybersecurity activities

The Successful Applicant

  • 3-5 years in IT Security in bank or investment management firm
  • Understands information security principles
  • Security knowledge in one of the following (Firewalls, Web, Email and End-Point Protection)
  • Understands the operation of security log collection, monitoring, alerting, and response technologies
  • Understanding of Cybersecurity identification, prevention, detection, response and recovery mitigation
  • Understanding of risk management frameworks
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Defender in relation to best practice hardening and security configuration
  • Security knowledge (Firewalls, Web, Email and End-Point Protection)
  • Operation of security log collection, monitoring, alerting, and response technologies
