• Proactively ensuring the whole technology stack runs optimally, with resilience and reliability
• Maintain patching, updates and recommendations for sequencing updates to maximise functionality and minimise downtime and risk of failure
• Proactively manage incidents and problems to identify root cause and recommend permanent solutions
• Liaise and coordinate with external managed service, software and hardware providers
• Provide service level and contract input
• Supporting change activity by providing test environments and performing deployment activities
• Transition of project works into production environment and subsequent monitoring
• Provide appropriate Level 2 or SME systems support, including training and pre-emptive identification and resolution of user issues
• Work with other support teams within IT Operations locally and offshore, and vendor partners to deliver the best outcome for the end user
• Engage with vendor partners in incident management and change tracking and follow up
• Execute and enhance the operation of the IT & Vendor Change Approval Board (CAB) process and meetings
• Act as a reviewer and implementer of IT change that is presented at the weekly CAB meeting.
