The client is a Texas-based real estate investment firm focused on the acquisition and development of workforce and affortable multifamily communities in Texas.

Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite new acquisition and development investment opportunities
  • Update and maintain financial models and track asset performance
  • Assist with the due diligence process
  • Prepare presentation materials
  • Perform analyses including sensitivity analysis, portfolio modeling, stress testing, and other ad-hoc analyses to support investment decision making
  • Assist in market research, including gathering market comps, zoning information, and demographic and economic data
  • Interface with internal and external parties, such as brokers, operating partners, lenders, legal counsel, and other key relationships as needed

The Successful Applicant

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the real estate industry is required.
  • Cultural fit is key. The ideal candidate is low-ego and collaborative, while being responsible and self-motivated. A desire to support the creation of healthy communities and cities is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year university is required with an academic focus in Real Estate preferred (major, minor, certificate, etc.)
  • Experience in similar roles in the multifamily sector, including acquisitions, development, and asset management is preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial concepts and real estate fundamentals
  • Strong Microsoft Excel financial modeling capabilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor processes and prioritize tasks

What's on Offer

The base salary will depend on overall experience but will range from $75,000 - $90,000. This role will also include an additional compensation bonus. Excellent benefits. Great team culture.
