They offer significant opportunities for professional development in a growing, supportive, and team-oriented work environment.Job DescriptionThe Multifamily Superintendent Will:Project Management & Coordination:Supervise day-to-day activities on the job site for multifamily construction projects.Coordinate all subcontractor activities, ensuring they adhere to the project schedule and quality standards.Review construction plans and specifications to ensure proper execution and compliance with design and safety codes.Monitor construction progress and report status to the Project Manager or Construction Manager.Develop and maintain schedules, and adjust work sequences as needed to ensure timely project completion.Quality Control & Safety:Ensure compliance with company quality standards and specifications.Enforce strict adherence to all local, state, and federal building codes and safety regulations.Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any safety concerns, project delays, or quality issues.Implement and manage safety programs to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.Provide training and guidance to subcontractors and laborers on safe work practices.Team Leadership:Supervise and direct field staff, including laborers, subcontractors, and other on-site personnel.Foster a collaborative, productive, and positive work environment.Resolve conflicts, provide mentorship, and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders involved in the project.Communication & Reporting:Maintain clear, consistent communication with the Project Manager, Architect, and other team members.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on project progress, safety issues, and budget compliance.Assist in change order preparation, RFIs (Request for Information), and any modifications to the project scope or schedule.Keep the client informed of project milestones, challenges, and any delays.Budget & Cost Management:Assist with the management of project costs and budgets, ensuring resources are used efficiently and in alignment with the project financial plan.Review and approve subcontractor invoices and work progress to ensure accuracy.Work to mitigate delays or issues that could result in cost overruns.Schedule Management:Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with the project team and subcontractors.Track project timelines, anticipate delays, and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts.Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
