About Our Client

The client is a vertically integrated real estate development firm with a GC arm that specializes in new construction Multifamily work. They manage projects from land acquisition through construction, offering a fast-paced environment with high visibility and a focus on growth, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera or MS Project.
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to gather updates and ensure schedule accuracy.
  • Monitor progress against baseline schedules and identify potential delays or risks.
  • Prepare and present schedule reports to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Support preconstruction efforts by building initial schedules for proposals and bids.
  • Assist in resource planning and sequencing of construction activities.
  • Update schedules regularly to reflect changes in scope, timelines, or priorities.
  • Ensure alignment between field operations and project milestones.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on schedule-related decisions.
  • Maintain documentation of schedule changes and project timelines for audit and review.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in construction scheduling, ideally within multifamily or mixed-use developments.
  • Proficient in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction workflows, sequencing, and critical path methodology.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple schedules and adjust timelines proactively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to analyze schedule data and present clear, actionable insights to leadership.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with permitting, inspections, and construction documentation is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
