About Our Client

Our client is a Owner, Developer, and General Contractor located in the greater Chicago area (NW Indiana) that has a strong pipeline of projects to take them through 2022 and 2023. This person will assist with any project related duties, office work, and other company coordinated projects. This person must have some sort of administrative experience in construction or a related field to be considered.

Job Description

  • Communicate with clients and all parties involved in the project to coordinate the required items
  • Submit applications to the city agencies and communicating with these agencies as needed to obtain approval, permit, renewal and/or sign off
  • Keep clients and all involved parties up to speed on the status of their projects
  • Ensure timely attention to the clients needs, i.e. that permits do not lapse
  • Answer email and phone call and action accordingly
  • File, scan, and organizing documents and contracts
  • Assist other departments with coverage as needed

The Successful Applicant

  • 2+ years in the construction industry with a General Contractor working as an executive assistant or office administrator
  • Strongly proficient using Microsoft: Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Excellent communication and social skills
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
