We are seeking a diligent Operational Risk Management Associate to join Risk & Compliance department and play a key role in managing operational risks within our Financial Services organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability in risk management, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of financial services.

Job Description

  • Implement and maintain an operational risk management framework across the organization.
  • Identify, assess and monitor operational risks in business activities.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and control improvements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and assist with internal audits.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to operational risk.
  • Provide operational risk education and training to staff.
  • Prepare operational risk reports for management and regulatory bodies.
  • Participate in the development of new products and services to ensure operational risks are managed effectively.

The Successful Applicant

  • An advanced degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operational risk management within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and products.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • A professional certification in risk management is a plus.
