Our Client is a a well-established, multinational investment bank and financial services firm that offers their expertise in corporate and investment banking, capital markets, and global transaction services. You will be working a hybrid schedule out of their New York, New York office.

Description

Investigating position and cash breaks between the different back office systems
Interact with both external and internal clients, such as the Client Services team and the Stock Loan trading desk.
Process and settle of trades in DTC, FED, and various International markets
Review and resolve differences in daily cash and position reconciliations
Provide superior client service
Balance and control of cash accounts in all currencies with the different custodians
Follow up on all failing trades, updating fail reasons and creating a fail report to send to interested parties

The Successful Applicant

Experience with Domestic and Foreign settlements
Experience with government/repos
2+ years experience in an operations role within financial services
Previous experience settling equity and bond products through DTCC, BNY, Euroclear and other International markets
Solid understanding of a variety of financial products (equities, fixed income and derivatives)
