Job Description

  1. Trade Processing:
    • Execute trade orders accurately and timely across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
    • Confirm trade details with counterparties and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
    • Monitor trade settlements and collaborate with custodians and brokers to resolve any settlement issues.
    • Reconcile trade activity and positions to ensure accurate record-keeping.

  2. Operational Support:
    • Provide support for portfolio managers and investment teams regarding trade-related inquiries and issues.
    • Maintain and update trade-related documentation and procedures.
    • Assist in the implementation and enhancement of trading systems and processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including compliance and risk management, to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  3. Data Management:
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of trade data within internal systems and external platforms.
    • Work closely with data providers and vendors to validate and reconcile trade-related data.
    • Generate and distribute trade-related reports as needed by various stakeholders.

  4. Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to streamline trade processing and enhance operational efficiency.
    • Participate in projects aimed at improving operational workflows and systems.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of prior experience in trade processing or operations within the financial services industry is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
  • Series 99 required
