Job Description

The Operations Engineer will report directly into the Operations Manager and be responsible for:

  • Support daily electroplating activities, ensuring smooth coordination across production, quality, and R&D.
  • Use your knowledge of electroplating and chemistry to troubleshoot issues, improve formulations, and boost efficiency.
  • Help refine processes to enhance quality, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Learn and uphold industry standards, OSHA regulations, and internal policies.
  • Work closely with engineering, quality, and sales to align operations with business goals.
  • Gain experience in budgeting, procurement, and inventory management for plating materials.
  • Assist in tracking KPIs to measure quality and operational success.
  • Identify and help mitigate operational risks to maintain a safe, sustainable environment.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing industry
  • Basic understanding of chemical reactions and metal deposition processes.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement, lean and six sigma tools.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Passion for learning, teamwork, and process optimization.
