Working with some of the best known brands in aviation, they supply high-quality machined components advancing flight technology. Due to exciting expansion, they are looking to bring on an experienced Operations Manager to oversee all functions within their machining department.Job DescriptionOversee all activities related to operations and product development, either directly or through subordinate supervisors.Provide input to product strategy, R&D efforts, and emerging product development.Ensure production, quality, and delivery commitments are consistently met.Lead the product line through the company's three value drivers (PPP).Develop and maintain production and quality control standards.Establish budgets, cost controls, and ensure alignment with business objectives.Guide the development of manufacturing process plans, including staffing, materials, subcontracting, facilities, tooling, and equipment needs.Coordinate manufacturing activities with other internal functions and suppliers to maximize productivity and resource utilization.Review production and operating reports; direct resolutions to operational, manufacturing, and maintenance challenges.Drive key operational metrics, including Book & Ship and weekly STC reporting.Compile, store, and retrieve production data to support reporting and administrative activities.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
