Job Description

Reporting directly into the VP of Operations, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee daily operations throughout the production floor
  • Directly oversee 4 Supervisors
  • Responsibility of production, operations, supply chain, materials, and procurement
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with management to set and accomplish organizational goals
  • Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Manage team, providing them with the tools, training, and guidance needed to be successful
  • Continually review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and procedures
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operations Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles
  • Experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Understanding of budget development and oversight experience
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions to improve service delivery
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage, influence and inspire a diverse team
