Job Description

Responsible for leading the North American Operations team - ensure that warehousing, inventory and operational systems are scalable to growth.
Ensure that all US B2B orders are processed and shipped end to end in accordance with customer specifications addressing any non-compliance.
Lead and support business improvements related conversations with vendors, warehouses and internal groups.
Lead the optimization and further optimization of local operations processes, ensuring cost control ad efficiency.
Embed third party logistics suppliers in their processes and align with the Global team.
Work with external vendors and collaborate with internal logistics, demand planning, IT, and sales teams to improve and automate current processes, streamline inbound and outbound work-flows and lead operations projects.
Develop key performance indicators to steer continuous improvement.
Prepare monthly business reviews and reports on KPI's and SLA's.
Support the regional and global projects to deliver long-term growth ambition.

The Successful Applicant

7+ years' relevant experience in operations and working with big box retailers.
2-3 years of experience managing a team and developing team members.
Experience managing logistics service providers and improving performance.
Have a willingness to travel to distribution centers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central/similar ERP systems.
Ableness to confidently negotiate in writing or verbally with suppliers on any commercial issues.
Openness and flexibility towards building processes and international team cultures.
Ability to turn high stress circumstances into manageable and actionable plans.
