Job Description

Manager is responsible for general supervision of a shift for production and monitoring of applicable personnel. In addition, he/she will interface with different departments within the manufacturing operation to help ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing process. Must be a strong communicator, with high-energy, proactive work style who works effectively under tight timelines and in a fast-paced work environment. Required skills & Abilities:

  • Progressive experience in leadership/management role at a food manufacturing facility.
  • Team building and advanced coaching skills with ability to motivate people, and assess and develop employee skills.
  • Demonstrates understanding of the principles and applications associated with manufacturing operations, maintenance and engineering.
  • Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes in a team environment.
  • Follow and enforce company GMP's, HACCP, GFSI, food safety.
  • Weekend work required as needed

The Successful Applicant

Accountabilities:Able to read various documents in English

Understands and communicates directions to supervisors

Cleanliness and maintenance of area

Accurately count items according to purchase orders Works with all departments to assure safe quality food Meets or exceeds HACCP, GMP requirements.

Works with safety in mind at all times

Assists with various reports: inventory counts, adjustments, damaged products.

Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety and food quality fundamentals including traceability, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans, allergens, control of contaminants, calibration of equipment.
