As the Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement Manager, you will own the continuous improvement roadmap across the organization. Our client, a long‑established leader in precision‑engineered components used across aerospace, defense, telecommunications, medical, and other high‑tech industries, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to drive operational excellence

Job Description

  • Develop and lead the company-wide continuous improvement strategy and governance structure.
  • Create and deliver training and mentoring programs for process owners in Lean, Six Sigma, and CI tools.
  • Manage cross‑functional process improvement projects focused on waste reduction, efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Advise leadership on improvement opportunities that support growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate value stream mapping to define current‑state processes and design future‑state improvements.
  • Conduct advanced data analysis to identify root causes and support decision‑making.
  • Build and maintain CI reporting and regularly present progress to senior leadership.
  • Partner with operations, quality, engineering, and other teams to ensure change initiatives are implemented effectively.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operations, or quality within manufacturing.
  • Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or related methodologies.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Quality engineering experience; ASQ certifications (CQE, CRE, CQM, CQA) are a plus.
  • Demonstrated success improving quality, cost, and delivery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and root‑cause analysis skills (FMEA/FTA experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives independently.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry is strongly preferred.
