Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and improve Branch-wide operational risk programs, including Operational Risk Issues Management and New Activities Risk Management.
  • Ensure successful execution of the Branch's operational risk programs through training, awareness initiatives, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Foster a strong operational risk culture within the Branch by supporting and overseeing the first line of defense through various risk management programs.
  • Ensure the timely creation of remediation plans for operational risk management framework issues and manage their implementation.
  • Contribute as a subject matter expert in Operational Risk Issues Management and New Activities Risk Management to support the execution of the RCSA program.

The Successful Applicant

  • A Bachelor's degree is a requirement; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Mandatory work experience in banking, with a minimum of 5 years in both Financial Services and Risk Management preferred.
  • Essential strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of operational or enterprise risk management concepts, frameworks, methods, and good governance practices.
  • A deep understanding of regulatory processes, activities, and requirements for a foreign banking organization is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Chinese is considered a big advantage.
