Job Description

  • Collaborate with Blue Sky Counsel to manage blue sky-related research and filings, providing firm-wide support to attorneys and other staff as needed.
  • Handle blue sky-related filings with advanced proficiency, including blue sky registrations, renewals, Form D filings, other exemption filings in the Electronic Filing Depository (EFD), Rule 701, Section 4(a)(2) research and filings.
  • Serve as a resource for attorneys and staff firm-wide on blue sky issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of blue sky laws and filing procedures.
  • Ensure timely filings and renewals for all blue sky notices and securities registrations.
  • Work with FINRA Counsel on FINRA matters firm-wide, preparing drafts of FINRA filings in the Private Offering System for transactions requiring such filings.
  • Prepare FINRA fee memos and assist with related tasks.
  • Coordinate FINRA fee payments and serve as a resource for FINRA-related issues.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other relevant software.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.



Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Electronic Filing Depository and FINRA Public Offering Systems is preferred.
