The Payroll Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation by reviewing payroll data, auditing records, and maintaining compliance with tax laws and company policies. They analyze payroll trends, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with HR and accounting teams to support efficient payroll operations.

Job Description

  • Support the Payroll Manager in handling both semimonthly and bi-weekly payroll operations
  • Carry out updates and changes related to payroll, including onboarding and offboarding employees, adjusting statuses, taxes, deductions, and processing garnishments
  • Prepare, review, and reconcile payroll reports and tax documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with the Management Company's Accounting team to manage payroll funding
  • Oversee and process timesheets for hourly (non-exempt) employees
  • Administer and process payroll for employees working across multiple jurisdictions on a quarterly basis
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records for 401(k) and pension plans
  • Work with the Accounting team to coordinate funding for retirement plans

The Successful Applicant

  • A bachelor's degree is required
  • Strong proficiency in Ceridian Dayforce
  • Must be highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting with employees across all levels of the organization
