Job Description

End-to-End Payroll Processing: Manage and execute multi-state payroll through Workday Payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
System Expertise: Maintain and troubleshoot Workday Payroll, including payroll setup, tax configurations, and reporting.
Compliance & Audits: Ensure payroll aligns with federal, state, and local regulations, conducting audits and reconciliations.
Payroll Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports on payroll trends, tax filings, and labor costs for leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and Benefits teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll discrepancies, tax issues, and employee inquiries.
Process Improvement: Continuously refine payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

The Successful Applicant

Must have hands-on experience processing payroll directly through Workday Payroll (not just as a user or for data entry).
3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.
Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, wage laws, and compliance requirements.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Workday Payroll configurations.
Experience with payroll reporting, audits, and reconciliations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
