Job Description

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of payroll processing via Workday.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws and best practices.
  • Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  • Coordinate with the human resources department to ensure correct employee data.
  • Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions.
  • Implement and enforce payroll policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit reports on payroll operations to the upper management.
  • Provide training and support to the payroll team.

  • A strong understanding of multi-state payroll procedures and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under strict deadlines.

  • Ability to work hybrid in Washington, DC.
