Job Description

Payroll Administration
* Accurate processing and maintenance of (exempt and non-exempt) semi-monthly payroll for employees in multiple states.
* Process legally required and/or employee requested payroll deductions (FSA, unemployment insurance, etc.).
* Monitor all vacation, sick and personal time off for employees.
* Oversee preparation of compensation budget and monthly projections.
* Responsible for the accuracy and distribution of monthly compensation reports.
* Reconcile differences within established payroll, benefit, retirement and accounting systems.
* Manage time & attendance system for exempt and non-exempt employees.
* Respond to inquiries or requests for information concerning payroll.
* Work closely with Human Resources Generalist to ensure accuracy of payroll information (new hires, terminations, status changes, etc.).
* Responsible for the timely reconciliation of STD, paid family leave and workers compensation benefits.
* Manage the semi-monthly administration of the 403(B) retirement plan contributions.
* Lead internal audits of 403(B) retirement plan contributions.
* Dissemination of annual fee disclosure notices and compensation statements.
* Support in the adherence to Affordable Care Act reporting and oversight.
* Other duties as required.Benefits Administration
* Enroll new hires in the 403(b)-retirement plan.
* Notification of 403(b) vesting period fulfillment and processing of employer contribution.
* Compile 403(b) plan related information for annual audit.
* Dissemination of annual fee disclosure notices to all 403b participants.
* Ensure foundation is in compliance with ERISA laws.
* Act as a liaison between benefits providers to resolve employee issues (e.g., insurance payment issues name or address change, etc.).
* Responsible for the reconciliation and payment of welfare bills.
* Ensure timely reconciliation of monthly and quarterly benefit billing.
* Processing of the EEO-1, Form 5500, unemployment claims and quarterly salary wage reports.
* Compile census for annual employee compensation statements.

The Successful Applicant

* BA/BS degree required.
* 3 - 4 years of multi-state payroll and benefits administration.
* Proficient in Paycom.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Strong understanding of multi-state FLSA and ERISA laws.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Must be detail and figure oriented.
* Work independently and as a team member.
* Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Coordinate a variety of projects simultaneously.
* Must possess customer service skills.
* Payroll certification a plus.
