About Our Client

I'm partnered with the CFO at a growing leader in the manufacturing industry. They are in full growth mode right now. They are looking to add on a Payroll Specialist to join their growing team to assit with payroll and accounts payable.

Job Description

  • Manage administration of electronic time clock, time sheets and correct missed punches on the ADP labor system
  • Match vendor invoices with receiving documents to check the quantity received with the quantity invoiced & the purchase order price with the invoice price
  • Responsible for computing, withholding, and applying deductions associated with net earnings for all employees
  • Ensure appropriate approvals are obtained, correct general ledger accounts are used, and entry of invoices into the ERP system (Epicor Vantage) for payment
  • Communicate with Vendors, Purchasing Lead, and Quality Manager to resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Research & reconcile all paperwork & phone calls from vendors to ensure proper payment
  • Prepare checks for vendor payments to ensure accurate payments within vendor terms
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Assist in Year End Payroll reconciliation
  • Assist in Payroll Tax Analysis
  • Assist in month-end, quarterly & year-end reporting and journal entries as assigned
  • Other special projects as deemed appropriate for changing business requirements

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum two years of payroll and payroll software experience is required
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now payroll processing
  • Some Accounts Payable experience is a plus
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Proficiency in Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) with the ability to use Pivot Tables & V Lookups
