Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing for their growing company. This is a standalone payroll role, responsible for accurately processing payroll for approximately 150 employees. This role requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and expertise in payroll compliance and reporting.

This company is an international umbrella organization for several well known brands. This position sits out of their corporate office on the west side of Brooklyn.

Job Description

  • Accurately process biweekly payroll for 150 employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Utilize ADP Workforce Now to input and verify payroll data, including wages, deductions, bonuses, and adjustments.
  • Ensure timesheets are reviewed and approved in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and labor laws.
  • Generate and analyze payroll reports using Excel to track trends, identify discrepancies, and support financial reporting.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing timely and accurate responses.
  • Ensure payroll tax filings, deductions, and benefits contributions are processed correctly.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance payroll workflows and increase efficiency

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • High attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot payroll discrepancies.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
