This client is a well-known, leading manufacturer of products in the Food & Beverage space and are seeking a Plant Controller to join their growing team!Reporting directly into the CFO, you will be owning the entire $100M plant function in IL and consolidating the sister company up to the global parent company. As the Plant Controller, you will also drive continuous process improvements and partner with the Plant Manager onsite to provide key financial analysis to support the business' growth.Job DescriptionPlant Controller Responsibilities:Develop and maintain financial controls, procedures, and systems to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Monitor and control plant expenditures, costs, and variances. Identify areas of improvement and recommend cost-saving measures.Collaborate with plant management and corporate finance team to develop annual operating budgets and long-term financial forecasts. Monitor performance against budget and forecast, providing regular reports and analysis to support decision-making.Oversee inventory control processes, including accurate valuation, cycle counting, and reconciliation. Analyze inventory levels and trends, ensuring optimal inventory management to minimize carrying costs and maximize working capital.Provide financial analysis and support to plant management, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and opportunities. Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to assess the financial impact of various business decisions.Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
