Leadership values proactive problem solvers, team-oriented managers, and individuals who enjoy being closely connected to operations and equipment performance.Job DescriptionLead a team of maintenance technicians, providing direction, coaching, and workload planning based on production needs.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and building systems, including motors, drives, control circuits, welding/fabrication equipment, and production machinery.Oversee preventive maintenance schedules, track maintenance KPIs, and drive efficiency improvements.Conduct facility and equipment inspections to identify reliability risks and necessary repairs.Ensure proper lockout/tagout procedures, safe work practices, and adherence to GMP, HACCP, and regulatory compliance.Partner with production and sanitation to improve equipment care, reduce unplanned downtime, and support continuous improvement projects.Maintain parts inventory accuracy and coordinate with vendors as needed.Participate in emergency response, alarm checks, and operational safety activities.Support organizational readiness and equipment needs during the upcoming site transition.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
