Job Description

Responsibilities for the Plant Manager include:

  • Lead all day-to-day plant operations, ensuring performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Drive plant transformation through structured systems, KPIs, and accountability.
  • Champion change management initiatives and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
  • Improve productivity, labor utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance.
  • Monitor plant performance metrics and lead corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety standards.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and production schedules.
  • Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing leadership team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Plant Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Proven success leading plant turnarounds or transformation initiatives.
  • Strong working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and CI methodologies.
  • Hands-on, visible leader with strong communication and people leadership skills.
