They have grown into a multi‑facility operation known for its technical capabilities, in‑house production processes, and premium packaging designsJob DescriptionThe key responsibilities of the Production Manager are:Provide daily leadership and oversight for production departments across multiple manufacturing lines.Establish and execute production schedules to meet customer delivery timelines and optimize throughput.Partner closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless operational performance.Monitor equipment performance, identify bottlenecks, and initiate corrective actions to maintain productivity.Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, line leads, and production staff to achieve performance goals.Foster a positive, safety‑driven culture while encouraging accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Oversee staffing, training, skill‑building, and workforce planning to support current demand and future growth.Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other efficiency‑driven methodologies to reduce waste, optimize workflow, and improve equipment utilization.Analyze production data to drive informed decision‑making, performance improvements, and cost reductions.Lead cross‑functional improvement projects, including automation initiatives and new equipment integration.If interested, please apply using the link below. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantThe successful Production Manager will have:Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of production management experience in manufacturing; packaging or print‑related operations strongly preferred.Demonstrated success leading teams in a high‑volume, multi‑shift environment.Strong understanding of Lean principles, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement techniques.Excellent problem‑solving ability with a data‑driven, analytical mindset.Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.Experience with packaging manufacturing processes such as corrugated converting, folding carton production, rigid box assembly, or thermoforming.
