Recognizing that their people are their greatest asset, they foster a culture of respect and appreciation, ensuring every team member feels valued and engaged.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Develop new processes using scientific molding principles, assess and document new and existing processes, and implement changes to improve product quality, productivity, and equipment efficiency.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to process technicians, operators, and other molding personnel.Create and maintain clear process documentation to ensure processes and procedures are understandable for all employees, while offering technical support to improve yield, throughput, and part quality.Demonstrate the ability to independently start, operate, and shut down process-related equipment; troubleshoot production issues and develop new processes.Collaborate with equipment and material vendors to address machine and material-related issues.Monitor injection mold performance, recommending refurbishment based on cycles, process capability, and tooling history.Interact with customers to resolve issues and provide updates on new projects.Implement technical solutions, including statistical methods, to meet customer cost, quality, and delivery expectations.Support and promote safety, environmental, and ergonomic initiatives within the facility and manufacturing operations.Stay updated on technological advancements in the injection molding industry and advise senior management on opportunities to enhance competitiveness.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
