Job Description

Responsibilities:

Propose enhancements to operations and processes to optimize cost-efficiency and quality.
Apply engineering principles to develop and improve processes.
Provide technical support to address issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Lead efforts to enhance processes for both new and existing products.
Assist with identifying and managing tools and resources.
Develop guidelines and provide training to staff to ensure consistent manufacturing practices.
Supply necessary documentation to ensure customer requirements are met.
Create design specifications for customized tooling as needed.
Collect and evaluate information to ensure customer specifications are met.
Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure all deliverables are executed on time.
Review and approve reports related to material or process issues.
Utilize systems to support production and reporting functions.
Communicate effectively with customers in various formats.
Oversee changes and improvements to processes, ensuring proper ownership and follow-through.
Achieve proficiency in key competencies required for the role.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate:

Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Technology; Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, or a proven ability to execute the essential functions of the role.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and tools.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and customers.
Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality control.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
