Job Description

The key responsibilities include:

  • Provide support to the Portfolio Management team
  • Monitor portfolio positions and products against client guidelines in conjunction with Compliance
  • Coordinate with Portfolio Management on sizing and allocation of trades
  • re-balancing of portfolios
  • Generating risk, performance and other metric reports daily
  • Daily "strategy tagging" of all trades conducted during that day.
  • Conduct performance and attribution analysis of holdings
  • Responding to ad-hoc requests from the Portfolio Management team

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:

  • Strong academic background in a technical field from a leading, accredited college or university
  • Good understanding of fixed income, equities and derivatives
  • Outstanding communication skills are required to operate in a complex financial and mathematical environment
  • Excellent Excel skills - SQL, VBA and programming skills are preferred
  • Strong process-oriented background and ability to demonstrate keen portfolio risk and operational awareness
  • Outstanding analytical skills with a proven ability to function efficiently and problem-solve in a fast paced and time-critical environment
