Job Description


  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the investment portfolio, including monitoring performance, tracking key metrics, and managing workflow processes.
  • Collaborate with investment professionals to develop and implement operational strategies for portfolio companies, including optimizing processes, improving efficiencies, and implementing best practices.
  • Conduct operational due diligence on potential investments, assessing the scalability, sustainability, and risk factors of target companies.
  • Manage relationships with portfolio company management teams and serve as a liaison between the investment team and portfolio companies.
  • Coordinate with external service providers, including legal, accounting, and financial advisors, to support portfolio company transactions and operations.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance, operational initiatives, and key operational metrics to senior management and investors.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes related to portfolio management and investment strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in portfolio operations management.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in portfolio operations management, investment management, or related field, preferably within the [private equity, venture capital, real estate] industry.
  • Strong understanding of investment processes, financial analysis, and operational due diligence.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
