As a Preconstruciton Manager, you'll own the preconstruction process-building budgets, timelines, and strategies that set the tone for project success. If you're someone who thrives on solving complex problems, influencing design decisions, and driving value from day one, this role puts you in the driver's seat.Job DescriptionLead and manage all phases of the preconstruction process from concept to groundbreaking.Develop and manage preconstruction schedules, deliverables, and milestone timelines.Collaborate cross-functionally to align on project goals, feasibility, and scope.Prepare detailed cost estimates and conceptual budgets across all stages of design.Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates.Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and alternate construction methods.Develop bid packages and manage bid scoping meetings.Lead internal preconstruction and estimating teams, mentoring junior staff as needed.Coordinate handoff from preconstruction to construction management teams for a smooth transition.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
