Description
Develop and validate new DNA-based assays at the bench
Optimize and improve methods for assembling, manipulating, and sequencing DNA
Collaborate with hardware and software teams to run and implement changes to our end-to-end platform
Analyze data, present findings, and make recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
The Successful Applicant
PhD or MS (or comparable work experience) in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline
2+ years of industrial experience
Knowledge in process design and development, process control, and monitoring
Experience working with piezoelectric inkjet printing
Experience with LabView or equivalent software for data acquisition and visualization
Familiarity with lab automation and biological processes is a plus
Self-motivated and commitment to fulfilling projects and deliverables in a timely fashion
Comfortable in supporting a fast-pace R&D environment
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal communication skills
