Job Description

  • Develop and implement robust quality control processes and systems to ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to drive quality initiatives and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and process validations to monitor and maintain adherence to quality standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality deviations, non-conformities, and customer complaints.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by utilizing statistical analysis tools, lean methodologies, and Six Sigma principles.
  • Provide training and guidance to production teams on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics, generate reports, and present findings to management for decision-making purposes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in quality engineering practices.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, and statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
  • Proficient in problem-solving methodologies such as root cause analysis, 8D, and 5 Whys.
  • Hands-on experience with process improvement tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and technologies, preferably in electronics or electromechanical industries.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
