This role will be responsible for a key corporate sourcing function that will be to develop and implement category management and sourcing strategies for chemicals.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Develop and implement procurement strategies for chemical products that align with business objectives and drive continuous improvement.Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and agreements, and manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services.Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities, and make recommendations to management on sourcing strategies and supply chain optimization.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements, and provide guidance and support on procurement-related matters.Maintain accurate procurement data and reporting, and analyze spend patterns and supplier performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, and maintain a high standard of ethical conduct and integrity in all procurement activities.Manage procurement budgets and resources, and make recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
