Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a category strategy that aligns with the overall procurement goals and objectives of the organization.
  • Identify and select reliable and cost-effective suppliers of electronic goods, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions for contracts.
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods, resolve issues, and maintain high levels of quality and service.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and conditions, as well as supplier performance, to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as operations and finance, to ensure adequate inventory levels, cost optimization, and compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Develop and implement best practices and procedures for procurement processes and systems.
  • Manage and mentor a team of buyers and analysts to ensure the success of the electronics category.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement or category management, preferably in the electronics industry.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, systems, and best practices.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing a team and developing talent.
