The role requires strong expertise in sourcing, negotiation, supplier management, and risk mitigation, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards and supporting the company's operational and financial objectives.Job DescriptionStrategic Sourcing:Develop and implement procurement strategies for electrical components to meet business objectives.Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the electrical components industry.Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure cost-effective and quality-driven procurement.Supplier Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.Monitor supplier performance against agreed KPIs, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure favorable agreements.Cost Optimization:Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or timelines.Identify and mitigate risks related to pricing volatility, supply chain disruptions, and material shortages.Operational Support:Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure alignment on component specifications and delivery timelines.Address and resolve procurement-related issues promptly.Compliance & Documentation:Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier evaluations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
