We are in search of an accomplished and results-driven Procurement Manager to spearhead our national procurement function. The successful candidate will be instrumental in crafting and executing procurement strategies, processes, and capabilities on a national scale. The Procurement Manager will take charge of identifying, capturing, and sustaining savings opportunities, with a particular focus on indirect spend on goods and services for all sites.

Job Description

  • Contribute to the development of company-wide procurement strategies, aligning with business requirements and fostering collaboration with other functions.
  • Implement methodologies such as Category Management, Purchase to Pay, Supplier Relationship Management, and contract management to achieve organizational goals.
  • Build and sustain a highly capable procurement organization, integrating business intelligence to enhance decision-making.
  • Foster a cooperative culture within the global Procurement community, promoting knowledge-sharing.
  • Drive procurement performance through effective spend and skill leverage.
  • Identify, capture, and sustain savings opportunities from the supply base, contributing to organizational success.
  • Ensure compliance with processes, tools, techniques, reporting, KPIs, and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the automation of the Procurement function by actively utilizing the Source to Contract and the Contract to Pay System.
  • Play a critical role in the system implementation for PO and Invoice processing slated for this year.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Prior experience leading/managing the procurement function in a business unit part of an international group.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Experience managing the categories of Fleet, Logistics, Travel and/or Spare Parts is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of procurement and procurement transformation programs.
  • Strong commercial knowledge and knowledge of related processes, tools, competences.
  • Program and project management knowledge.
  • Consultancy skills and understanding of change programs.
  • Significant experience of managing Direct and Indirect spend categories.
  • 5+ years of team management experience including specific examples of key successes in development of team members.
